Jennifer will be at the hackathon to help you develop your ideas and create solutions to specific mental health issues. Her specific area of interest is Trauma.
People who have experienced trauma tend to be hyper-alert to a repeat performance and create stories around an issue or person, hurting any chance of healing or release, and causing violent outbursts. We aim to build solutions to help those how continue to suffer from trauma and those that work with sufferers.
Jennifer Wells is an interdisciplinary scholar, writer and professor at CIIS (MA Yale, PhD UC Berkeley, Sorbonne Paris IV). Jennifer’s current projects include writing on complex thinking, carbon ethics and environmental politics, and work in new media and creative visioning.
